IAA Participates in the 4th Global Soil Biodiversity Conference

The Institute of Agroecology and Food (IAA) participated in the 4th Global Soil Biodiversity Conference, widely recognized as the leading international conference in the field of soil biodiversity.

Researcher María J. I. Briones delivered a keynote lecture, in recognition of her outstanding scientific career and her contributions to the understanding of ecosystem functioning and soil biodiversity in the context of global change.

During the conference, IAA researchers Julia Köninger and David Fernández Calviño also presented scientific contributions in collaboration with the international scientific community attending the event.

The participation of IAA researchers in this conference highlights the Institute’s presence at one of the leading international forums on soil biodiversity and its contribution to advancing knowledge on soil systems and current environmental challenges.
