On 24 April, the University of Vigo hosted the 4th Annual Workshop on Food Policies at its Ourense Campus, organised by the Food and Health Omics research group.
The workshop, entitled Functional Foods and Health: New Opportunities for the Agri-food Sector, brought together around 190 participants, including researchers, students, industry professionals and institutional representatives. Throughout the event, participants discussed recent scientific advances, industry experiences and innovation strategies related to the development of functional foods.
The event was organised with the participation of staff affiliated with the Institute of Agroecology and Food (IAA) and supported by the Campus Auga of the University of Vigo.
